Integrated data communication
Fronius believes that every solar system should be monitored. Therefore, we offer integrated data communication capabilities for all our inverters and free online monitoring with Fronius Solar.web. Simply connect the inverter to the internet via Wi-Fi and use our Modbus TCP SunSpec, Modbus RTU SunSpec or Fronius Solar API (JSON) interface for seamless data communication to third parties. The different interfaces can be operated in parallel to the Fronius Solar.web online platform. The monitoring is easily set up via our smartphone app - it's so easy, even the home owner can do it.
Design Flexibility
Fronius inverters offer great design flexibility, giving you all the options you need and making system design extremely simple. Two independent MPP trackers, wide DC input voltage windows and oversizing of up to 150% make the inverters suitable for complex roofs, different array sizes and multiple orientations. The Fronius Design Flexibility offers a solution for all your system design needs
Dynamic Peak Manager
The Dynamic Peak Manager is a new MPP tracking algorithm that dynamically adapts its behaviour when searching for the optimal operating point. Its special feature is that the Dynamic Peak Manager automatically checks the entire characteristic curve on a regular basis and finds the global Maximum Power Point (GMPP), even in partial shade.
Multi Flow Technology
The Fronius Multiflow Technology allows the energy flows within a storage system to be intelligently controlled in parallel. Supply your loads from both array and battery at the same time, or charge your battery while consuming solar power in your building. Multifow Technology can even provide dynamic grid support while charging or discharging the battery. Furthermore, you can charge your battery from the AC side, enabling easy retrofitting to existing solar systems or other energy sources, such as a wind turbine. Whatever the application requires, the Fronius Multiflow Technology is the solution and ensures that the system is both flexible and efficient.
Full Backup
With the full backup option, the entire household, i.e. 1 phase as well as 3 phase devices, can be supplied with electricity in the event of a grid outage. For Full Backup, a battery and a switching device for safe grid disconnection are required in addition to the inverter.
PV Point
The integrated basic grid back-up - a socket that is supplied with power during power outages - ensures that important loads can conitunue to operate should the power fail.
Active Cooling
Active cooling technology relies on one or more fans, which not only avoid hot spots, but also regulate the air circulation inside the inverter, thus keeping the temperature of the power electronics low. This has a positive effect on the service life of the devices, optimises yields and reduces costs. At Fronius, active cooling is supplied as standard in all devices.
