Fronius GEN24 with BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS/HVM
The BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS/HVM is the following product of the BYD Battery Box HV. The BYD Box Premium Line is compatible with GEN24 Plus (HVS/HVM) and Symo Hybrid (HVM). The capacities of the combinable batteries range from 5.1–10.2 kWh (HVS) and 8.3-22.1 kWh (HVM). Fronius has once again achieved true grid back-up, with the BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS/HVM. This means that even three-phase loads can be used in a grid back-up situation.
Please note! The DC switch on the BYD Premium must be turned on at first. The DC switch of the Fronius GEN24 Plus at second. This process is a security feature of the BYD Battery Box HVM.
Fronius Symo Hybrid with LG Chem Resu
The LG Chem RESU is a high voltage battery space-saving battery system. The reduced wight of the LG Chem Resu allowes to install the battery on the wall.
Please note:
- Fronius GEN24 Plus Series is not compatible with the LG Chem Resu 7H/10H (Type-R)
- Fronius Symo Hybrid is compatible with LG Chem Resu 7H/10H (Type-R)
- Fronius Check Box must be installed
- Backup power is not available with LG Chem

Fronius Symo Hybrid with BYD Battery-Box Premium HVM
The Fronius Symo Hybrid inverter is compatible with the BYD Battery-Box Premium HVM. The Fronius Symo Hybrid supports the BYD Battery-Box Premium HVM since the firmware 1.16.6-. The wiring plan for the Fronius Symo Hybrid - BYD Box Premium HVM is available in the Battery-Box Premium Quick Start Guide HVS & HVM.

Backup Power - Fronius Symo Hybrid
The Fronius Symo Hybrid inverter is able to provide a three-phase back up power. It is necessary to disconnect the mains connection from the facility during the backup power mode. Thanks to the Fronius Symo Hybrid it is possible to use the automatic switch-off function of the unit.
