How to run a Fronius Solar.update

Software updates on Fronius SnapINverters can be applied to fix any software related bugs or to fix any software related state codes.  Fronius inverters, which are setup for online monitoring have the remote software update feature enabled and can be remotely updated through Fronius Solar.web. For systems which are not setup for online monitoring, SnapInverter updates can be applied via the inverter’s USB port and the GEN24 updates can be applied via the inverter´s web interface. 

FRONIUS GEN24 PLUS

Update the inverter via browser: 

1. Download the Firmware Update file from here. 
2. Connect to the inverter via web browser - IP 192.168.250.181 (also see Quick Start Guide) 
3. You are asked to enter a customer password. Afterwars the update page opens automatically
4. Drag the Firmware Updated file into the filed "drag & drop file here" or select it via "Browse File". The Firmware update starts and may take several minutes. The inverter then restarts. 
5. Connect to the inverter again. Run the setup wizard to bring the inverter online, configure it and connect it to Solar.web 

Fronius USB Update/Galvo/Primo/Symo/Eco

The 'Fronius USB Update/Galvo/Primo/Symo/Eco' provides the latest software for Fronius Galvo, Fronius Primo, Fronius Symo and Fronius Eco inverters.

Fronius Solar.update/Energy Package

The 'Fronius Solar.update/Energy Package' provides the latest software for the Fronius Energy Package.

FRONIUS SOLAR.UPDATE/DATAMANAGER

The package 'Fronius Solar.update/Datamanager' contains the latest software for the Fronius Datamanager (which is also integrated in the Fronius Galvo and Fronius Symo inverters). This version contains the software to use the S0-interface of the Fronius Galvo and Fronius Symo inverters, in order to realize dynamic feed-in management (f.e. dynamic 70%) and an open Modbus TCP interface.

FRONIUS SOLAR.UPDATE/AGILO

The package 'Fronius Solar.update/Agilo' contains the latest software for Fronius Agilo inverters.

It is recommended to reload the particular country setup in your inverter (e.g. Setup DE, Setup ES, etc.), so that all changes have been applied in the memory of the device. In case of any questions about reloading the country setup in the service menu, please get in contact with your national TechSupport hotline.

Please consider that - with a reload of the country setup - all settings regarding grid parameters that have already been executed will be overwritten (by default limits as required in the national standards). You have to adjust the parameters manually via the inverter display again, if necessary.

The package „Fronius update/Agilo“ contains the latest software for inverters of the Fronius Agilo series. It can be executed via Fronius Solar.Service software.

FRONIUS SOLAR.UPDATE/IG

The package 'Fronius Solar.update/IG' contains the latest software for all inverters of the Fronius IG series.Please note that this update is NOT applicable for US-devices!

FRONIUS SOLAR.UPDATE/IG TL

The package 'Fronius Solar.update/IG TL' contains the latest software for all inverters of the Fronius IG TL series. It can be executed with the Fronius Update Package or Fronius Datalogger directly via PC. The package 'Fronius USB update/IG TL' contains the latest software for all inverters of the Fronius IG TL series. It can be executed via USB Stick. 

FRONIUS SOLAR.UPDATE/IG PLUS CL

The package 'Fronius Solar.update/IG Plus/CL' contains the latest software for all inverters of the Fronius IG Plus and Fronius CL series.

Please note that this update is NOT applicable for US-devices!

FRONIUS SOLAR.UPDATE/STRING CONTROL 100/12

The package 'Fronius Solar.update/String Control 100/12' contains the latest software for the Fronius String Control 100/12.

FRONIUS SOLAR.UPDATE/STRING CONTROL 250/25

The package 'Fronius Solar.update/String Control 250/25' contains the latest software for the Fronius String Control 250/25.

FRONIUS DATALOGGER UPDATE 5.01.22/ FRONIUS SOLAR.UPDATE/DATALOGGER2 /FRONIUS DATALOGGER WEB UPDATE

The package 'Fronius Datalogger Update 5.01.22' contains the latest software for every Fronius Datalogger (easy/pro).

The Fronius Datalogger easy/pro is equipped with a serial interface as well as a modem interface.

The package 'Fronius Solar.update/Datalogger2' contains the latest software for every Fronius Datalogger2 (easy/pro).

The Fronius Datalogger2 easy/pro is equipped a serial interface, a modem interface as well as a USB interface.

With the update for the Fronius Datalogger Web you implement the latest software version to your DATCOM-allrounder.

FRONIUS PERSONAL DISPLAY DL UPDATE

With this update, both the Fronius Personal Display DL and the Fronius Personal Display Card will be updated to the latest firmware version.

USB Driver for Fronius Datalogger easy/pro

This package contains the Microsoft Windows USB Driver (32/64 Bit version) for Fronius Datalogger easy/pro.
