All eligible Fronius inverters installed between 01/10/2024 and 31/12/2025, that are registered in Fronius Solar.web with their certificate downloaded within 24 months of installation, will receive another 5 years of Fronius Warranty Plus as part of the promotion, free of charge.

- Full warranty coverage of 10 years for registered products
- Free overview of current PV system performance data in Fronius Solar.web
- Regular information on new functions, accessories, compatible storage units, and home automation solutions
* Fronius accessories are excluded from product registration.
Warranty conditions
Essential conditions
1. The inverter must be installed within the promotion period and registered and claimed online within 24 months of installation to redeem the 10 Year Fronius Warranty Plus.
2. In addition to the warranty certificate (obtained via online registration), system owners must also provide the purchase invoice and commissioning record, if requested by Fronius to validate your data, to claim the 10 Year Fronius Warranty Plus offer.
3. The
inverter software must be regularly updated in order to ensure smooth operation
of the photovoltaic system.
Ongoing inverter software updates not only guarantee a low failure rate and
better serviceability of the device, they also ensure optimal system
performance.
Two Options for Regularly Updating Inverter Software
- Bringing the PV system online in Fronius Solar.web**: With this option, an inverter update can be started online. Fronius reserves the right to carry out updates automatically.
- Manual checking and, if necessary, update of the inverter software every 3 months
Product registration in Fronius Solar.web
The free product registration couldn’t be easier for owners of pv systems:
- Open the following page: www.solarweb.com
- Don't have a Solar.web account yet? Click “Login” then “Register now” to create a new Solar.web account
- Fill in the required fields and follow the subsequent steps to complete account setup.
- Already have an account? Log in to your Solar.web account
- Open the “Product registration” menu item
- Enter your inverter's 8-digit serial number
- Choose the installation date,
your country and the relevant installer
- Head to the Fronius Webshop by clicking "Extend Warranty"
- Select the desired warranty
model and finalise the order
- The warranty certificate will then be available for download on Solar.web

Purchase warranty extensions for even greater protection
Reliability, a long service life and sustainability play a crucial role for PV system owners, just like they do for Fronius.
This is why we are offering you the option to extend the warranty for up to 20 years. System owners thereby benefit from the uniquely high-quality service of our Fronius Support team reliably and in the long term.
Fronius Warranty Extension
The Fronius Warranty Extension is a cost-effective way to protect system owners against risks. If a claim is made, Fronius will provide the relevant materials, and the warranty holder does not have to pay for the spare part.
Fronius Warranty Extension Plus
The Fronius Warranty Extension Plus provides you with comprehensive cover. If a claim is made, in addition to the material costs, Fronius also covers labor costs for removing and installing the spare part, as well as any transportation costs.
* Fronius accessories are excluded from product registration.
** The prerequisite for this is the maintenance and provision of an Internet connection.
What if your Fronius inverter was installed before the 1st of October 2024?
Eligible Fronius Inverters installed before the 1st of October 2024* are still eligible for the Fronius 5 + 5 Warranty Promotion, which offers an additional five years of Fronius Warranty cover on top of the standard fives years of Fronius Warranty Plus cover.
The requirements are:
- The eligible Fronius inverter must be installed within the promotion period (For specific promotion period for eligible products, please review for warranty flyer for your specific inverter).
- The eligible inverter must be registered online on Fronius Solar.web within 24 months of installation.
- Claim the 5+5 Fronius Warranty offer for free via the Fronius webshop.
- You must download the Warranty Certificate from Fronius Solar.web.
